TGGS Building Opening Ceremony on 30th November 2011

This is a very special occasion for KMUTNB, 3 celebrations in one historical event. We are celebrating the 84th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, celebrating 150 Years Thai-German Diplomatic Relations and TGGS building Opening Ceremony by HRH. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering Building (TGGS) had its foundation stone laying ceremony on November 18th, 2004. The 10 story TGGS building is located at KMUTNB, Bangkok campus and provides 8 international engineering programs.
On the 22nd October 2004, KMUTNB and RWTH Aachen University, Germany, signed a contact of commitment to establish “The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS)”, kindly named by the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The program strongly focuses on R&D, industry collaboration, entrepreneurship and technology-oriented business development. It is a unique model of graduate engineering to enrich the Thai higher education system “Industry-Oriented”, a German Model based on the RWTH Aachen Model. TGGS will be the main hub to transfer the German Graduate Engineering model to the ASEAN Community.
