MASTER OF ARTS IN ENGLISH
FOR BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY ( MA - EBI )

Purpose
|
|
To
keep pace with the country's movement to the forefront of technological
and industrial development in Southeast Asia, KMITNB recognizes the need
to produce technicians, technologists, business persons, communicators,
and teachers proficient in using business and industrial English. These
MA-EBI graduates will, in turn, help Thailand meet the ever changing and
expanding trends in business and industry.

Our
purpose, therefore, is this: to offer master's level training in EBI
for those who need to refine their English competence to compete successfully
in the commercial, industrial, and educational professions.

Objectives
|
|

To produce more teachers, technologists, technicians, communicators, and
business people with EBI international communications skils.
|
|

To encourage and enhance the English skills of those who engage in entrepreneurial
activities.
|

To develop graduates' ability to communicate effectively in English.

To access empirical research and professional pursuits.
|
|

To promote and stimulate interest in advanced studies in science and technology.

| Qualifications of Applicants: |
| Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or the equivalent in any field which is recognized by the Ministry of University Affairs, as well as a TOEFL score of 500 or IELT score of 5.5 or a TOEIC score of 650. All candidates must pass the MA-EBI entrance examination and admissions interview. Prospective students should have 1 letter of recommendation from an undergraduate instructor or if employed, 1 letter from a supervisor who knows the student's capabilities. |
