King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is a leading technology university in Thailand. Its three campuses are in the North of Bangkok, Prachinburi and Rayong province. The educational system emphasizes development of people in science and technology to become technicians, technologists, engineers, technical teachers and also administrators in education business and industry. To expand the educational system to the regional areas, in 1995, KMUTNB acquired land in Prachinburi province to establish a new campus "KMUTNB Prachinburi. Prachinburi Campus is located at 129 Moo 6, Tambon Noenhom, Amphoe Mueang, Prachinburi 25230. The total area is 197.41 hectares. The first students began studying in the Faculty of Industrial technology and Management in 1997. In 2003, student from the Faculty of Agro-Industry also started studying at the Prachinburi Campus.

List of faculties

  1. The Faculty of Agro-industry is located at Prachinburi Campus which offers two departments; Agro-industry Technology and Management (ATM) and Agro-industry Product Development (APD). The faculty educates such as Food Science and Technology, Management and Administration of Agricultural Business, Food Processing, Food Analysis, Food Quality Assurance and Product Development.
  2. The Faculty of Industrial Technologyand Management is responsible for training graduates of industrial technology and management to create, design, construct, administer, and manage business and industry effectively. Graduates must be able to apply knowledge for the benefit of the community and society.
  3. The Faculty of Engineering is responsible for educating skilled engineers who can apply theory to solve engineering problems. The Faculty now has collaborative research projects with international institutes. In addition, the Faculty has cooperative projects with an industrial sector in Thailand in projects such as Human Resource Development in Logistics, a joint effort with the Research Center of Logistics and the Federation of Thai Industries, Research and Development in rescue robots with the Defense Science and Technology Department, and Learning Support Robot Championship for Thai students.
